That's wonderful news!!! My husband got good news this month also. Can you tell me what genetic markers they were talking about? Did you get tested for specific markers? I am trying to learn as much as possible about prognostic markers. Any information you can give would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI believe the markers the oncologist was referring to were from the biopsy. These results came in a few weeks after the diagnosis (it takes longer), and were used to determine if 'Temodar' would be effective. I hope you have a neuro-oncologist to talk to about this, if not you may want to find one at a brain tumor center.
DeleteEd, this is good. Meant to post weeks ago.
